The 6 weeks antenatal course prepares you for giving birth, and the care of a young baby.

We will cover some of the challenges & changes faced by expecting parents, and support during labour & after the birth of baby.

Classes are in a relaxed home space to bring expectant parents together to learn and support each other.

It is recommended that you start when you are 20-34 weeks pregnant.

What to expect?

The 2 hour classes will combine practical learning with a 30min physical practise including hypno and active birthing exercises as well as partner yoga to prepare you for the labour and birth process, as well as connecting you with your partner and baby.

The course content is split evenly between the things you need to think about to prepare you for the arrival of the baby, and what to do when the baby is here.

At the end of each class you will have the opportunity to take away additional activities for an optional home practise.

There are two additional optional activities to attend a dinner at the end of the course, and a weekend lunch a month after baby has arrived, so that the babies can all get to meet one another :-)

About Me

I started practising yoga 15 years ago for health reasons and am a strong believer of Yoga for Health. I believe our yoga practice can help us attain greater consciousness, inner peace and strength, benefiting our body, mind and soul.

I trained in multistyle yoga (200hr Yoga Alliance) with the Trimutri Yoga school in Goa, teaching Hatha, Vinyasa flow and Ashtanga. I have a relaxed and fun teaching style. I enjoy adapting the styles of practise to the health requirements of the individuals in a class.

I received my pregnancy yoga training with Yoga Mama, and my antenatal & doula qualifications with Bump2Babies.

I have a Physiology Bsc and carried out my Biophysics PhD research on Molecular Biology, researching the function of muscles.

Off the mat I love rock climbing, spicy food, and have two little toddlers who are my real Gurus for Yoga.
